Wade in the Water

Wade in the Water.  When the Children of Israel left Egypt and slavery, Yahweh parted the waters.  Forty years later, the children of these slaves, as well as  Joshua and Caleb had to wet their feet in the River Jordan before the river parted and the people could cross into the Promised Land.

Daily our girl is deciding figuratively and occasionally literally does she want to wet her feet.  Often she susses out a situation and after a somber wait, screams, “Couris!” and we run into the new experience.  No two situations are the same, even when they seem the same to me.  Her delight after wading in and finding safe ground delights us.

  1. I’m sure those moments of confidence warm your heart and give you the encouragement often needed. The photos are beautiful – she is a gorgeous little girl!
