Precision, punctuality, and haste = lack of self-esteem

Stumbled upon these quotes, and I think they’ll be frig motivators for the kind of spring break I hope to have: still, quiet, restful, relationship filled.

“Precision, punctuality, and haste are concepts connotating lack of self-esteem.  In fact, only minions, slaves and servants are expected to perform tasks at the ‘time appointed.’  Furthermore, there is no concept of ‘my time being wasted’:  “Interruptions are enjoyed.  They are not a “waste” of time, but the treasured highlights which time must serve.'”

“Just sitting and being, rather than rushing around and doing is a major feature of Muslim culture.  The emphasis is on human relationships, not on activity, on companionship rather than words.
